  • Why should I use Simply Cleaner?
    • ​We are a small locally owned and operated cleaning company in Council Bluffs who believes every job should be treated professionally and with our core belief of "Do unto others"
  • How do I know I can trust the people sent to my home?
    • ​Simply Cleaner keeps a small team of cleaners on purpose.  Growing to be the "biggest" is not our goal.  Hiring only those that care about the work as if it's their own home, and those that with no doubt pass back ground and drug testing is our top priority.  Trust is the first and most important step in our client relationships, we never take that for granted.   ​
  • Do I have to sign a contract?
    • ​No contract that is binding for you to continue service.  However, estimates given reflect the service agreed upon so pricing could change if you cancel services.  For instance if you sign up for a Monthly Cleaning Service but cancel two or more months and then wish to schedule a cleaning after there has been a time gap in service, the service may require more than the estimate since it would not longer be consider a "regular" monthly service.   We will send an estimate that reflects a change in price if there is a gap in service.
    • Cancelling an appointment or requesting a time change is always fine, please give us as much notice as possible. 
    •  You will get a business card from the Residential Supervisor to call her cell phone if the change needed is immediate, or you can email our Scheduler ahead of time to make any additions or changes.
  • Do I need to be home during the cleaning service?
    • ​You do not need to be home during the service.  We find we do our best with the less people in the house.  If anyone is home we can also work around them.  
    • We do have a policy that male occupants cannot be home alone with our cleaning team.  We can discuss with you if this needs to be customized in any way for any reason.
  • Will I always have the same cleaner(s)​
    • Yes the only time we would change is if someone took a vacation day or is sick.   Anyone filling in or working alone will be familiar with your home and have the confidence to take care of it as expected. 
  • Do you guarantee your work?
    • ​Yes!  We do clean according to the estimate given and according to the scope of work shown on our web site.   Anything on the list within reason we will fix it if we miss it.   "Misses" are hardly ever on purpose.  Everyone wants to do their best and give the service expected so please talk to us about it so that if we over look something or we aren't sure of something we can get on the same page quickly.  We have talked about this so much as a team.  Being human and getting into a routine is so valuable when it comes to our work but it also can mean we are so routined we are on auto pilot and don't see something, we are open to knowing if we do that so please just talk to us so we can make it right.  It helps us to get better.
    • We cannot guarantee Stain Removal on fixtures in kitchens and bathrooms or floors, or Major Build Up on Mini Blinds.  But we will do our best and will try SAFE PRODUCTS to help us with build up and stains without COMPROMISING your fixtures or home.  Breaking a mini blind or bending them too far in order to get a spec of dust isn't the goal but we will do our best in a safe way.
  • What about my pet(s)
    • ​We love dogs and cats!  We don't mind them if they are friendly.
    • We ask if they (the pets) are a risk to dart out a door while we are coming in and out with our supplies that they be put away or in a kennel or outside in a fenced area. 
    • We do not clean up pet messes and cannot sign up to feed them, walk them or get them outside for potty breaks.  As a company that runs on a schedule we just aren't able to commit to anything additional as each home and pet is different and we want our focus to be on the scope of work that was reflected on the estimate request.​​
  • What do I need to do before my Cleaning Service?
    • ​We are able to work most efficiently with cleared counters and sinks, toys and clothes picked up, bathroom counters and sinks 80% cleared,  however we will work around items as needed and we do understand the morning rush to get out the door doesn't always allow for every single item to be put away.  We do understand this very much as we we also have families and busy lives that are always on a schedule. 
    • Before services are started determine how we will access the home.   Here are some options that customers choose:
      • ​Garage Code Given
      • Key Given (keys remain in our office locked up and not labeled with the address or last name, only are checked out on the day of service and are returned immediately after the service)
      • Key left in a discrete place around the home
      • A side door left unlocked
      • Someone is there to let us in
    • Please also makes sure we know what expectations are to lock up and secure the home before we leave.

How do I get started?
Fill out an online estimate request form. There is no obligation or charge to receive an estimate. ​

Once you accept the online quote form by electronically clicking "Accept" we will contact you with your first appointment.​ Most first appointments are a Deep Clean Service which cost a little more.  After the initial first cleaning the price reflects less labor and chemical needed when the home is on a "regular" schedule.


How does the online quote form work? ​

When you fill out an online quote form it gives us a good indication of the home layout and we are able to send the estimate within 24 hours 
 

If you don't want to fill out the form on line just call us we can talk over the items on the phone and get back to you with the estimate if you don't want to use the online option.​

What if my cleaning falls on a holiday? ​

We are closed all major Holidays including Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Day, Easter, Thanksgiving and our Scheduler will be in contact with you prior to the holiday if your cleaning falls on a holiday to find a different service day.   
If you also have additional holidays you want to reschedule your cleaning for please contact us and we will work with you.


What are your hours of operation?

Simply Cleaner Residential Services operate Monday through Friday 8am-4pm
If you contact us after hours we will get back to you as soon as possible the next business day.  If you contact us on a weekend we will get back to you the next business day.

PAYMENT QUESTIONS

  • When is payment Due?
    • ​Payment is due the day of service for:
      • Real Estate 
      • One Time Deep Cleans 
      • Monthly Cleanings
      • Bi-weekly Cleanings
    • Payment is due by last day of month for:
      • ​Weekly Cleaning
      • Special Arrangements made with Accounts Payable
  • How do I pay for my cleaning?
    • ​We offer an online link to your invoice that can be sent with your appointment reminder
    • Check payments can be mailed, generally an invoice goes out prior to your service with a payment envelope.
    • Payments can be left for the cleaning team to take back
    • Card payments can be taken over the phone 
  • Do you offer gift Certificates?
    • ​Yes. We offer E-gift cards online that can be emailed or texted to recipients, we also offer plastic gift cards that can be picked up or delivered locally, or we will also mail them for you

  • Should I tip my cleaners?
    • ​This is not expected but always appreciated.  We do understand our service is already an added item in the household budget so we do not have an expectation.   
  • Will I have any liability or have to pay taxes if I hire a cleaning company? ​

       No.  Simply Cleaner is bonded and insured, which includes all team members of Simply Cleaner.

  • Residential Customers do not pay taxes on their service Commercial Customers do have tax applied to their services
